I served as the Baton Rouge Area Chamber’s marketing and communications intern from November 2019 to May 2020. In this role, I crafted and sent out weekly newsletters, worked with investor relations to draft investor spotlights, copyedited content for the website and quarterly magazine and wrote creative content for their blog.

Five Lessons From Lamar
Sean Reilly, CEO of Lamar Advertising, was the guest speaker at BRAC’s Monthly Lunch in February. Reilly gave the audience a first-hand account of the great history behind Lamar Advertising and how the company grew to be the most valuable out-of-home company in the world. BRAC’s 2019 Ambassador of the Year
To honor standout board members, community leaders, and ambassadors, BRAC distributes annual awards to its investors. This year, award recipients were announced in early April. For 2019, BRAC’s Ambassador of the Year Award was bestowed on Brooks Lawley, commercial real estate agent at The Hammett Group at NAI Latter & Blum.
